Rev. Kimberly Greway assumed the role of Director of Christian EducationRev.  Kimberly Greway at MLUMC in August 2008. Rev. Greway was appointed to MLUMC in July 2006. She grew up in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, and her home church is St. Paul's United Methodist Church. After graduation from North Hills High School, she attended Allegheny College with a major in French and minors in religion, women's studies and political science.

After several years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zimbabwe, Kimberly
returned to the U.S. to study theology at Duke Divinity School. While in seminary, she served two small churches in eastern North Carolina and worked as a prison chaplain in Raleigh, NC.

Kimberly's skills include languages, arts, and music. She speaks three
languages and is interested in the creative use of language. While at Duke
she founded and published a creative arts magazine, Logia, which encompassed poetry, prose, written music, drawings, paintings and photography.

Kimberly has a passion for travel, global service and justice issues. Recently she served in England as part of a cooperative parish with five churches in the Poole area. She has traveled to the Middle East and East Africa for biblical and modern church history travel and study. Most recently Kimberly assisted a Volunteers In Mission group from the Pittsburgh District on their mission trip to Zimbabwe.

Currently Kimberly is serving as associate pastor at MLUMC and as Communications Coordinator for The Nyadire Connection, an NGO which supports a United Methodist mission in Zimbabwe.
