Summer Worship and Speakers

During the summer our 8:30 a.m. service remains in Sanner Chapel, but 10:45 a.m. service is moved to air-conditioned Asbury Center. The Gathering service at 9:30 is located in Wesley Hall on the first floor.

Faith for Today

Sunday School classes are on hiatus during the summer months, and in their place we offer our Faith for Today summer speaker series. Each week from 9:30-10:30 a.m. we feature speakers who are active in our communities and help with outside nonprofit projects. Church members also share their own mission and community outreach experiences during Faith for Today. Nursery care is available during Faith for Today and the 10:45 worship service throughout the summer.

Vacation Bible School

For one week each summer, Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church offers Vacation Bible School, where children strengthen Christian relationships and learn age-appropriate Bible lessons. Activities include arts and crafts, games, and music. We always include a mission component to help teach the importance of serving our neighbors. VBS is free to any child age 4 and up, although donations to help cover costs are appreciated!
