Worship and Sunday School

Worship

Come and join us for worship! We have three services each Sunday. An 8:30 a.m. traditional service takes place in our Sanner Chapel, and a 9:30 a.m. modern service, The Gathering meets in Asbury Center.  Our 10:45 a.m. traditional service is held in our Sanctuary.  Nursery is offered on Sunday mornings from 9:30 until after the 10:45 service.

Kids Praise, a learning experience offered for children aged 3 years old through 3rd grade, takes place during our 10:45 a.m. service.

Sunday School

Sunday School fellowship is held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. We offer classes for adults and children preschool through 12th grade. For information about Sunday school, please contact Kim Rhoton or the church office.

Youth Sunday School

Children learn scripture, practice Christian values and review Wesleyan history during our Sunday School hour. Each year, 3rd grade classes are presented with Bibles to further enrich Christian faith. Confirmation classes are available for youth in eighth grade or older.

Adult Sunday School

Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church has three adult Sunday School classes. Classes offer fellowship, Bible study and discussion for those of all ages and backgrounds. Fellowship extends from the Sunday School hour into the community, as classes participate in outreach projects and ministries.

Mixers/Homebuilders Class is a lecture based class that focuses on a variety of Christian topics.

Young Adults Class is a discussion-driven Bible study class.

Kerygma is a discussion-based class focused on a variety of Christian social justice issues.

Coffee Café

Separate from our traditional Sunday School classes, Coffee Café is a place where conversation, caffeine and snacks come together. Coffee Café occurs from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in our Brookline Parlor, near the sanctuary.
