United Women in Faith is a supportive and inclusive Christian membership organization where women grow spiritually, develop as leaders and work to create a world in which all women, children and youth thrive.

Our mission

We seek to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

Our Vision

We are a powerful, fearless force driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood. With a focus on women, children and youth, we act for justice and transform communities.



We face the realities we see in the world, even when they are not the ones we would like to see. However, our goal is not to bear witness simply to harms but also to God’s love by acting boldly to change those harms.

Our Action

Bold action, like faith, takes courage. Our bravery is inspired by God’s love and our powerful commitment to improve the lives of women, children and youth. United Women in Faith works for justice through compassionate service and advocacy to change unfair policies and systems that harm women, children and youth—from racial and gender injustice to economic inequality, climate issues and more.

  • What We Do

    We meet as women of the church to nourish each other in fellowship. Through fundraisers and projects we reach out to our local and global community of children, youth and women. 

  • When We Meet

    We start our year in September with a salad supper and speaker. We have various fundraisers and projects including:


    - Spring and Fall Flower Sales

    - Christmas Cookie Tea Room and Craft Fair

    - February Soup and Salad Dinner

    - Snack and Hygenie Bags for the Food Pantry

  • Who We Help

    We work to serve children, youth and women locally and globally. We know that by supporting women, we are supporting the whole family. 

  • How do I Join

    Every woman in the church is a member. If you are interested in getting involved, let our local officers know.

Christmas cookie sale & Tea room

DEC 13, 2025 • 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.


Festive fellowship returns when the UWF holds their annual Christmas Cookie Sale & British Tea Room in the Education Wing and Asbury Center. Come early to have the best selection of delicious homemade Christmas cookies sold by the pound.


After you’re done shopping, stop by the British tea room for one of Barbara Watson’s homemade scones and a hot drink.

 

All proceeds benefit women, children, and youth! We hope you’ll join us for this time-honored event!
