WeekDay Ministries Child Care Center

Our childcare center has been a ministry of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church since 1982, providing early childhood learning with faith, hope, and love.

Conveniently located on West Liberty Avenue, on the Mt. Lebanon/Dormont line, we are close to the Dormont T station and major bus routes. Our hours are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

All daycare centers in Pennsylvania must be licensed, but not all operate with the same integrity and standards that we do. We serve our mission, not the almighty dollar. All our teachers must first and foremost be people with a genuine calling to work with children. Their attitude towards children is our number one, foundational requirement. Education and training are next.

Our group sizes make sense. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and functional. Curriculum includes standards set by nationally recognized bodies. Lessons are developed and shared with parents each day. A thread of Biblical truth is woven throughout our activities.

To learn more about our program, check out below or on our enrollment page.

We look forward to meeting you and giving you a personal tour. Please email or call us for a personal visit!

Our Mission

Weekday Ministries Child Care Center is an outreach ministry of Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church. We believe in early childhood education within an atmosphere of faith, hope, and love.

Weekday Ministries was founded by Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church in 1982 in response to the community’s need for quality childcare. Our goal is to provide childcare within a warm, Christian atmosphere. We strive for healthy child development and parental trust.

Our Philosophy

Young children learn through relationships. Our teachers share a dedication and love for the children in their care. Our classrooms are not overcrowded. Our children receive developmentally appropriate instruction in a healthy environment.
