TERRIFIC TUESDAYSItem Link List Item 3
TUESDAYS • 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Our long-running mid-week gathering, known as Terrific Tuesday, will resume on Tuesday, October 7th at 6:00 p.m. in Asbury Center. As usual, each week’s session will include a shared meal (provided by the church, free-will offering accepted), followed by activities for all ages. Nursery care is available each Tuesday night.
Our adult study this fall will focus on the theme “Partnerships.” We’ll hear from several different speakers throughout the season, representing several of our denominational and international partnerships.
As usual, dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m., with each night’s special activity kicking off by
6:45 p.m.

Festive fellowship returns when the UWF holds their annual Christmas Cookie Sale & British Tea Room. Come early to have the best selection of delicious homemade Christmas cookies sold by the pound.
After you’re done shopping, stop by the British tea room for one of Barbara Watson’s homemade scones and a hot drink.
All proceeds benefit women, children, and youth! We hope you’ll join us for this time-honored event!

COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS CAROLINGItem Link
DEC 14, 2025 • 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. • ASBURY CENTER
Please join us for Christmas caroling in the neighborhood surrounding the church on Sunday, December 14. This is a fun event that requires no special singing talent, just the willingness to spread good cheer to those who live near MLUMC!
We will meet in Asbury Center at 6p.m. for a light dinner, followed by caroling, and then back to the church to warm up with cookies and hot cocoa. The entire evening will wrap up before 8p.m.
Please dress for the weather and bring a flashlight; caroling booklets will be provided. Register with Kim Rhoton, krhoton@mlumc.org

CHRISTMAS TABLEAUXItem Link
DEC 21, 2025 • 10:45 A.M. • SANCTUARY
Volunteers are needed to assist behind the scenes and to participate in the annual Christmas Tableaux, scheduled for December 21 at the 10:45 service. Children and teens are needed to play the parts of angels, shepherds, and kings. Adults are needed to help the participants get into costumes and enter the sanctuary on cue. Participants and adult helpers must be available for a rehearsal on Tuesday, December 16 at 6:30p.m. in the sanctuary. Please contact Kim Rhoton to volunteer or with questions.
